Covid 19 Behind Bars - A Prison Phone Call

I though I’d share a recent phone call that I had with Bobby (with his permission of course). He talks about what prison life is like during this virus outbreak. Imagine trying to practice social distancing in a prison environment, when inmates are literally stacked on top of each other, elbow to elbow eating chow, and trying to stay clean when all they give you is a hotel sized, sample bar of soap - to last a full week. Bobby said that MDOC in Lansing is providing updates each day on the confirmed cases inside the prisons, which he appreciates. Out of 31 Michigan prisons, half of the cases are at his prison, but as you will hear, he manages to keep his humor and stay sane.
